One day courses are open to old students, ie those who have done a 10-day course with
S.N.Goenka or one of his assistants and who are trying to maintain their sila, to
deepen their practise. New students cannot be accepted on a one-day course.
The timetable of a one-day course is approximately as follows:-
8:30-9:00 a.m.----------------Arrive/Registration
9:00 a.m. ----------------ANAPANA session followed by meditation
11:00 a.m. ----------------VIPASSANA session
12:00-1:00 p.m.---------------Lunch break
(If an assistant teacher is present, there are interviews at 12:30)
1:00-2:00 p.m.-------------- Meditation
2:00-3:00 p.m.----------------Group Sitting
3:00-3:30 p.m.----------------metta
3:30-4:00 p.m.----------------Afternoon Tea
4:00-5:00 p.m.----------------Meditation and Discourse
5:00 p.m.---------------------Course Ends
Noble silence and all the other rules of a 10-day course are followed,
please reread the Code of Discipline.
What to Bring
Please bring a blanket/shawl, meditation cushion and mat as the floor is wooden. You will also need to bring your own vegetarian lunch. Tea is provided.
Location
The venue is the Greenwich Senior Citizens Hall which is located at 46-50 Greenwich Rd, Greenwich, which is behind the Greenwich library.

How to get there
The hall is a 15 minute walk from Wollstonecraft Station, via the Smoothey Park footbridge and Giles Avenue.
Alternatively, catch a 254 bus from Wynyard Station (corner of Margaret & Clarence Streets), which leaves at 8.08am and arrives at the corner of Greenwich Road and the Pacific Highway at 8.25am. (Please check timetable with Sydney buses.)
From there it is a 5 minute walk down Greenwich Road.
